സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്ന് 6238 പേര്‍ക്ക് കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം 1507, എറണാകുളം 1066, കോഴിക്കോട് 740, തൃശൂര്‍ 407, കണ്ണൂര്‍ 391, കോട്ടയം 364, കൊല്ലം 312, പത്തനംതിട്ട 286, മലപ്പുറം 256, പാലക്കാട് 251, ആലപ്പുഴ 247, കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് 147, ഇടുക്കി 145, വയനാട് 119 എന്നിങ്ങനേയാണ് ജില്ലകളില്‍ ഇന്ന് രോഗ ബാധ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
 
കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറിനിടെ 54,108 സാമ്പിളുകളാണ് പരിശോധിച്ചത്. പ്രതിവാര ഇന്‍ഫെക്ഷന്‍ പോപ്പുലേഷന്‍ റേഷ്യോ (WIPR) പത്തിന് മുകളിലുള്ള 5 തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലായി 6 വാര്‍ഡുകളാണുള്ളത്. ഇവിടെ കര്‍ശന നിയന്ത്രണമുണ്ടാകും.
 
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 1,14,773 പേരാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരില്‍ 1,12,235 പേര്‍ വീട്/ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂഷണല്‍ ക്വാറന്റൈനിലും 2538 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 261 പേരെയാണ് പുതുതായി ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്.
 
നിലവില്‍ 34,902 കോവിഡ് കേസുകളില്‍, 6.4 ശതമാനം വ്യക്തികള്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ആശുപത്രി/ഫീല്‍ഡ് ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്.
 
കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളിലുണ്ടായ 30 മരണങ്ങളാണ് കോവിഡ്-19 മൂലമാണെന്ന് ഇന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതുകൂടാതെ സുപ്രീംകോടതി വിധിപ്രകാരം കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ പുതിയ മാര്‍ഗനിര്‍ദേശമനുസരിച്ച് അപ്പീല്‍ നല്‍കിയ 14 മരണങ്ങളും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആകെ മരണം 49,591 ആയി.
 
ഇന്ന് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചവരില്‍ 72 പേര്‍ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന് പുറത്ത് നിന്നും വന്നവരാണ്. 5776 പേര്‍ക്ക് സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്. 341 പേരുടെ സമ്പര്‍ക്ക ഉറവിടം വ്യക്തമല്ല. 49 ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.
 
രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന 2390 പേര്‍ രോഗമുക്തി നേടി. തിരുവനന്തപുരം 647, കൊല്ലം 18, പത്തനംതിട്ട 188, ആലപ്പുഴ 100, കോട്ടയം 192, ഇടുക്കി 100, എറണാകുളം 410, തൃശൂര്‍ 93, പാലക്കാട് 44, മലപ്പുറം 81, കോഴിക്കോട് 266, വയനാട് 43, കണ്ണൂര്‍ 170, കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് 38 എന്നിങ്ങനേയാണ് രോഗമുക്തിയായത്. ഇതോടെ 34,902 പേരാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച് ഇനി ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. 52,00,350 പേര്‍ ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില്‍ നിന്നും മുക്തി നേടി
