Vedan Arrest: റാപ്പര്‍ വേടനെ കൊച്ചിയിലെ ഫ്‌ളാറ്റില്‍ നിന്ന് പിടികൂടിയത് കഞ്ചാവ് വലിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ. ലഹരി ഉപയോഗം, ഗൂഢാലോചന എന്നീ വകുപ്പുകള്‍ ചുമത്തിയാണ് വേടനെതിരെ എഫ്‌ഐആര്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. 
 
വേടനും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും അടക്കം ഒന്‍പത് പേരാണ് ഫ്‌ളാറ്റില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. തീന്‍ മേശയ്ക്കു ചുറ്റും ഇരുന്ന് കഞ്ചാവ് വലിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ഡാന്‍സാഫ് സംഘം പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് എത്തിയത്. ഫ്‌ളാറ്റിലെ ഹാള്‍ നിറയെ പുകയും കഞ്ചാവിന്റെ രൂക്ഷ ഗന്ധവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വില്‍പ്പനയ്ക്കായി കഞ്ചാവ് കൈവശം സൂക്ഷിച്ചെന്നും എഫ്‌ഐആറില്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 
 
കഞ്ചാവ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം വേടന്‍ പൊലീസിനോടു സമ്മതിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ മറ്റു രാസവസ്തുക്കളൊന്നും താന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാറില്ലെന്നും വേടന്‍ മൊഴി നല്‍കിയതായാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. 
 
കൊച്ചി വൈറ്റിലയ്ക്കടുത്തുള്ള വേടന്റെ ഫ്ളാറ്റില്‍ ഇന്നലെ രാവിലെയാണ് പൊലീസ് പരിശോധന നടത്തിയത്. ഫ്ളാറ്റില്‍ ലഹരി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതായി പൊലീസിനു രഹസ്യവിവരം ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.
