രാജ്യത്ത് പുതിയതായി കൊവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത് 16,935 പേര്‍ക്ക്. കൂടാതെ കഴിഞ്ഞ മണിക്കൂറുകളില്‍ 16,069 പേര്‍ രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 24മണിക്കൂറിനിടെ രോഗം മൂലം 51 പേരുടെ മരണം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതായി കേന്ദ്ര ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു. നിലവില്‍ രാജ്യത്തെ സജീവ രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം 1,44,264 ആണ്.
