രാജ്യത്ത് തുടർച്ചയായ രണ്ടാം ദിവസവും പ്രതിദിന കൊവിഡ് കേസുകൾ രണ്ടര ലക്ഷം കടന്നു.ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ പേർക്ക് കൊവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത് മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലാണ്. 24 മണിക്കൂറിനിടെ 43,211 പേരാണ് രോഗബാധിതരായത് കർണാടകത്തിൽ 28, 723 പേർക്കും, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിൽ 22,645 പേർക്കും രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.അതേസമയം ഇന്നലെ 23,459 പേർക്കാണ് തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിൽ കൊവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.
 
ചെന്നൈയിലെ പ്രതിദിന കേസുകളുടെ എണ്ണം പതിനായിരത്തിലേക്ക് അടുക്കുകയാണ്. ഇന്നലെ 8963 പേർക്കാണ് ചെന്നൈയിൽ മാത്രം രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.ചികിത്സയിലിരുന്ന 26 പേർ മരിച്ചു.നിരവധി ജല്ലിക്കട്ടുകൾ നടക്കുന്ന മാട്ടുപൊങ്കൽ ദിനമാണിന്ന്. ജല്ലിക്കട്ട് വേദികളിൽആൾക്കൂട്ടം പരമാവധി കുറയ്ക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ് ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടങ്ങളും പൊലീസും.
 
ഡൽഹിയിൽ  പ്രതിദിന രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം കുറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും പോസറ്റീവിറ്റി നിരക്ക് 30 ശതമാനം ആയി ഉയർന്നു. ദില്ലിയിൽ ഇന്നും നാളെയും വാരാന്ത്യ കർഫ്യൂ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കും.
